What to write about

Corrections are welcome. If an article gives a name, a place or a date that does not match the record, say which article and which line, and give the source you are using.

Sources are welcome too. If you know of a published account, an archive file, a cemetery record or a local history booklet that an article does not mention, send the reference. Photographs of documents are useful when the document is in the public domain or you hold the rights.

Questions about the subject are welcome. A question about how a story was collected is often easier to answer than a question about what happened at a site, because the written record usually covers the telling and not the event.

A reply is not promised, and no reply time is given.
